TimelyCare
Virtual Mental Health Services including individual counseling, health coaching, and 24/7 TalkNow support are available to enrolled students at no additional cost. Use your Texas State netID to register for an account. Access via the TimelyCare app from the privacy of your computer or smartphone and schedule at your own convenience. Appointments available outside of non-traditional business hours and services offered in many languages.
Counseling Center
Counseling Center Services include brief individual, group, couples counseling, consultation, and crisis response for enrolled students at no additional cost. Webinars and workshops about mindfulness, emotions, coping with stress and other mental health topics are also routinely offered. If you are interested in Counseling Center services, call 512.245.2208 or schedule online.
Campus Recreation Center
The Student Recreation Center is free to all enrolled Texas State Students with a current University ID enrolled in at least one credit hour. They have a full workout gym, racquetball courts, cybercafe, indoor track, group fitness classes, indoor pool, intramural sports, climbing wall, swim lessons, personal trainers, boot camps, weight room, boxing equipment, golf simulator and sport clubs. Looking for a quiet space? Ask about their Meditation Room!
Therapy Assistance Online
Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) is an interactive, dynamic, easy-to-access program that provides short videos and skills building exercises to address anxiety, depression and other common concerns. No additional cost to enrolled students. Use your Texas State email address to set up a Self-Help account. Access TAO from the privacy of your computer or smartphone and go at your own pace.
Minds Matter
Minds Matter helps Bobcats answer frequently asked questions posed by students, family & friends, and faculty & staff about mental health resources.
The Minds Matter website and serves as a central hub for TXST mental health resources and supports.

This App introduces the iCan hypnosis brand to a wider audience by being free of charge, and can be used to learn self-hypnosis for tackling many other problems. We have applications that deal with addiction to nicotine, alcohol, that deal with medical disorders that can be reached through the process of hypnosis. It is a clinical hypnosis method that can directly connect to the subconscious and alleviate and ultimately allow you to be free from these troubles.

Depression CBT Self-Help Guide
The natural management of depression involves understanding depression and the factors that contribute to the symptoms. Learning to manage stress in your life and engage in self-care behaviors can improve your symptoms and your mood. This app contains a depression severity test, audios, articles, a cognitive diary and a motivational points system that help you learn how to do this.

All currently enrolled Texas State University Students can connect with a Board Certified Physician 24/7/365 via phone and/or video chat using HealthiestYou's nationwide telehealth service. Video chat consultations are available though an app on both Android and iPhone devices. During a physician consult, you will be able to speak to a physician for diagnosis and treatment of many different acute illnesses.
Students currently enrolled in the Texas State Student Insurance Plan will receive this service for FREE and consultations will be $40 for students not currently on the plan.
