TimelyCare

Virtual Mental Health Services including individual counseling, health coaching, and 24/7 TalkNow support are available to enrolled students at no additional cost. Use your Texas State netID to register for an account. Access via the TimelyCare app from the privacy of your computer or smartphone and schedule at your own convenience. Appointments available outside of non-traditional business hours and services offered in many languages.

Counseling Center

Counseling Center Services include brief individual, group, couples counseling, consultation, and crisis response for enrolled students at no additional cost. Webinars and workshops about mindfulness, emotions, coping with stress and other mental health topics are also routinely offered. Campus Recreation Center

The Student Recreation Center is free to all enrolled Texas State Students with a current University ID enrolled in at least one credit hour. They have a full workout gym, racquetball courts, cybercafe, indoor track, group fitness classes, indoor pool, intramural sports, climbing wall, swim lessons, personal trainers, boot camps, weight room, boxing equipment, golf simulator and sport clubs. Therapy Assistance Online

Therapy Assistance Online (TAO) is an interactive, dynamic, easy-to-access program that provides short videos and skills building exercises to address anxiety, depression and other common concerns. No additional cost to enrolled students. Use your Texas State email address to set up a Self-Help account. Access TAO from the privacy of your computer or smartphone and go at your own pace.

Minds Matter

Minds Matter helps Bobcats answer frequently asked questions posed by students, family & friends, and faculty & staff about mental health resources. 
The Minds Matter website and serves as a central hub for TXST mental health resources and supports.

Join a club! Did you know that there are over 400 student organizations at Texas State? Student Involvement is committed to enriching Bobcats through service, student organizations and activities. They want every Texas State Student to have a sense of belonging to their community.
